The most desired ice rink in Kyiv, created at M82, in the building of the former TetraPak factory

Winter holidays are the most magical and beautiful time of the year. Christmas bells, twinkle lights, gifts, winter activities — everyone looks forward to it all year long.

The dream of many is to visit Christmas NYC with its legendary ice rinks. And then walking among the Chinatown trying to find the finest souvenirs, buying a Christmas wreath in Little Italy, watching a musical on Broadway, or tasting delicious Brooklyn pizza — sounds amazing.

So we have created our own New York in Kyiv, with its special festive atmosphere — IQOS Central Park.

Chinatown

1
The first area of the New York ice rink was Chinatown, with Maneki-Neko cats, Chinese lanterns, various posters, a gift store, and a grocery store with free tangerines.
2

Broadway

The meeting place was the lovely Broadway theater facade, with luminous signs and posters of the most famous musicals.

West Village

3
The third one — porches of the West Village townhouses in Manhattan, one of New York City's recognizable features. It's a special place for conversations, first kisses and goodbyes, surprises, and marriage proposals.
4

Harlem

A police car, a phone booth, yellow traffic lights, road signs, fire hydrants and graffiti-painted walls — it’s Harlem.

Little Italy

5
A little further away — Little Italy, with cute facades, a bookstore, the tastiest bakery and a flower store, where you could buy a Christmas wreath or flowers as a gift.
6

Brooklyn

The next stop was a pizzeria in the middle of an ice rink. It's a typical Brooklyn pizza in the hood, a place for locals, where the menu and team have not changed for decades.
Details
Entrance

New York City is associated with its numerous illuminated signs. Thus we decorated the entrance with various white and turquoise neon creeping lines. It was visible from afar.

Christmas Tree

And, of course, a Christmas tree. It was located at the far end of the rink where every guest could stop and make a wish.

Bar

New York City Subway, is one of the oldest subway systems in the world and one of the main symbols of the city. That's why the bar of event partner Jameson was styled like a subway — train with graffiti, signs with the names of the stations, and  of course, the most delicious cocktails.

Brand Zone

And the IQOS brand zone turned into a press kiosk, where you can find English-language newspapers and magazines.

Beauty Corner

Beauty corner by G.Bar, where you could get a special make-up or hairstyle.

Photo Booth

There was a photo booth on the ice where you could take pictures with friends. Or just stay here if your skating skills not so good. Yes, the biggest queue was here.

Food Court

Food court with typical American street food — hot dogs, french fries and donuts.

Dressing Room

The dressing room became a US college changing room, with a range of lockers and benches. Here you could get skates and free socks.

Posters

Like in the cinema, there were posters of previous events on the walls — IQOS Film Studio, IQOS Moonlight Garden, IQOS Night in Paris, IQOS Kurazh, IQOS Cinema on Waves and others.
